yesterday i put my ne vitos reeds in and sealed the case and boot to the cylinder with rtv. i tried to run it a few hours latrer and it started and died and wouldnt start back up dont know why. today it started right up (guess maybe the rtv dried) and after riding it when i parked it the rpms started climbing until i pulled the choke full out and it would do this unless the choke was out. these hanging rpms can supply some serious wheelies if it happens at the wrong time too (oww). im guessing i have a pretty nice leak in the rtv doin a test tomorrow but if theres no leaks what else could cause this? also i have a basically brand new top end but my compression is 115? is that ok?

if its not an airleak ....lean on the pilot thats why pulling the choke helped

EDIT: dang ^^^^^ u guys are fast lol

one thing i do know is that the retard who sold me the quad sawed off the nipple for the oil injection and also the clamp for the airbox to the carb is always falling off. could that cause an airleak
