Got myself a buggy!

Well last night me and my Pops went to go look at a buggy a guy was selling, it looked good, it's an Invader frame with a new VW Dualport crate engine, 4 speed tranny, this thing just purrrrsss..no...more like growls came with a few extras too, (i'll list all the details when i get the pics up!) We'll be picking it up next weekend I:I

Nice! Looks like a runner. I'd put a better air cleaner on that thing, and the rattling exhaust cap will drive you crazy.

How's it drive with the huge rear tires......can you get it into 4th gear?

Air cleaner noted; That cap doesn't bother me all to much, i can always put a bushing on it to stop the racket lol.
It's not street legal yet so I haven't taken it on the road much, I've only been in 3rd so far, Definitely getting road-friendly tires when i go to make it street legal.
You've got a nice buggy man looks sweet! Whats the HP on that thing? how much travel does it have?

Very nice I just got something like that but its just a little 150cc gokart traded my xbox360 and desktop tower for it the guy rode it like 4 or 5 times then stopped riding it has electric start,full suspension and all.

I'm not sure of the HP. It's a 1915cc deal with a center-mount weber44.

The frame has 16" of clearance all around. The coilover's in the back cycle 10-11" and I'm getting 7-8" of travel from the front.

Currently have it all tore down for some R&R......hope to have it back on the dirt by year's end.

You'll have a lot of fun with your buggy, and I wish I could legally drive the streets here in SoCal with mine.
