good trade?

i had a guy offer me his 01 cr125 that is in mint condition worth $2200 for my grizzly 600 that needs some work worth about the same amount of $$$

are these 125's good? the cr has a new top end and a fmf pipe. i think i'm going to do it even though i need the money. give me some opinions.

yea cr125s are good, if you check the bike over and nothing major is good, and its in good cond. then yea i would say its worth it

a grizzly 600 isn't worth $2200 in perfect condition, yet let alone needing work.
a 01 cr125 is also not worth $2200 unless it is 100% built.

i bought it a few months ago as a beater and was going to fix it up until i noticed / heard thunderous knocking coming from the top end. i'm pretty sure that it needs a crank + piston and rings + valve work.

No they dont. I just craigslisted VA and the highest one was for 2400 and it was an 07. Thats 6 years newer. All the 125's on there were in the price range I stated.

People cant give 125's away.

and a grizzly 600 isn't worth over 2K. it is barely worth a grand if it needs that much work.

the guy knows that it needs work. I would never lie. his buddy is a mechanic and hes going to do the work for him
