Hey guys this is my first post, so I hope I put it in the right place, if not, please forgive me.

Okay, I have a 2006 Blaster Special Edition, so far it is all stock as far as the engine (except for a rebuild, but I think that is just maintenance more then anything).

Okay so to the point! I am hoping someone will be able to help... I want a pipe set up that will add some power (Top-end and low-end both would be great). I mainly trail ride and hill climb but I would love some more power thrown in. I don't want it to be too obnoxiously loud, but I know it's obviously going to be louder then the stock pipe. I was hoping a good sounding quad but I don't want people in Australia to be hearing it (I live in PA lol). So yeah, I'm open to suggestions, please give me your input. Thanks.

Welcome to the site and you most likely will get a few responses on this question. Depending on your budget, you could go different ways. You would be well served with a DynoPort Big Volume, Paul turner Mid, LRD, PowerPros or clone (CT, F7, etc...), Toomey B1, or Shearer. I personally have a Shearer but am thinking about selling it as I am thinking that I want a more top-end biased exhaust (but I am affraid that I will miss the mid-range of the Shearer). The Toomey, LRD, PowerPros designs are more mid to top biased while the others are more mid-range (from my research). Others make pipes like CPI, Wicked, RDZ, FMF, and Pro Circuit. I would not recommend a DG and I am sure that there are a few that I have not listed. The FMF and Pro Circuit are good trail pipes for basically stock engines and are a good deal if you can pick one of them up for cheap on ebay or craigslist. Hope this helps!

I was thinking about the Toomey B1 full kit [From Rocky Mountain ATV], but I read somewhere that it was 94 db, which is rather loud.

it is a little load and i personally do not like the sound. before i bought my shearer i was looking at a dmc exhaust as both it and the lrd sound much better to me. the vito's fat bastard is another nice sounding exhaust as is my shearer. i think that they all are going to be loud and 94db is really not too bad but Toomey also makes a hush kit for their silencers- but you should call them to confirm. i think that you will be impressed with the added performance of the toomey pipe kit.

Did the Shearer make a good improvement? I don't need like some crazy massive change, I plan on making some other modifications as well. How much do they run in cost?

i got mine on ebay for like $320 delivered. it did make a big difference as it provides a good broad powerband that starts low and comes on strong in the mid-range then tapers off as you transition into the top-end. it does not produce the strong top-end of some of the other pipes but it has a killer mid-range that I have not felt on any other pipe.

Okay. They all seem like $300-$400 so I might as well find the best. I thought about a Phantom (Only available via Project Blaster, my friend used to be Sponsored by them), but They were really pricey, nearing $400, I would much rather spend $300. Thanks for the help.

The Shearer pipe was built for just what Burnin_oil_2001 said
I could not have set it better
Mat Shearer is building a drag pipe for the public, not available yet. It will look somewhat like the LT250 pipe a just posted. Check it out

My dad owns a LT250... if it makes my Blaster perform anything like that, it would be worth every single cent I pay.

I think I'll probably end up with one once I scrap up some money
