Good buy or not?

Im looking at purchasing an ATHENA 392cc BBK for my banshee this summer and sending it to ken for porting and then this winter installing it.

Are these kits any good?Better than the VITOS stuff?Im not looking to dive into the bottom end if i dont have to since its all freshened up and in spec and would prefer the bolt on method.Are the athena kits quality?How well will this work with the stock carbs?

The kit looks real nice and complete what you guys think?

i have basically zero banshee experience but from what ive heard from buddies i would go with a wompus kit

I had been looking at the vitos 404 kit but by the time you figure in machine work i think it would exceed the athena kits price and the athena looks more complete.

read that link carefully, sounds like they've found some inherent problems with that athena kit, from experience, and for the extra $, fix them for you !

WOW will this really yeild 65-68HP on stock crank???

Yea im not too worried about any clean up work as im planning on getting this kit and sending it to ken for porting and anything he feels necessary to do to it.

Sounds like the issues theyve found with this kit ken will easily be able to adress my only concern in the nikasil bore how good are these?i know theyre standard on most dirt bikes and what have you but the price to send them off for replating it insane compared to boring a sleeve.I want tons of power but id like to keep reliability and longevity as well.
