its a 90 toyota 22re for $2600 5 speed 4x4 33" tires new fuel fump fuel filter and mass air flow sensor and if its not a p.o.s. its coming home with me heres a pic of it

when i talked to the gut that ownes it and i asked him if it had any rust and he said it had a spot smaller than a quarter on the tailgate and he said when he pulled the bed off he looked at the frame and there wasent any rust on it but ill go over it really close to see if there is any rust
Nice looking truck. Like said, check frame for rust . Got one in the other week that bent in half when I picked it up. Lol.
that would have pretty funny i dident think toyota had that mutch problems with the frams rusting i knew the body rusts really bad
It was funny. Picked it up with a loader to take it out to the yard and it bent 90 degrees when I hit a bump. Ill have to get a pic.
my buddy had an early 2000's toyota,
he got it at a salvage sale and rebuilt the front end, turned out really nice, he had maybe $5000 in it.
got a letter from toyota offering to buy it back as part of a recall/lawsuit (?) for frames rusting out prematurely
he responded and was told to take it to a dealer in pittsburgh for evaluation.
they gave him $14,000, which he applied to a new tacoma.
for a truck he had $5000 into, reconstructed title and all
his understanding was, it was headed for the crusher.
so yeah, toyota's are infamous for frame/body rot, at least here in the snow belt.
yep Toyotas are known for body rust, I have a 2wd Toyota 1993 with a 22re, runs like a dream, they are known to go over 400k miles if not wheeled and sunk in mud
went and looked at it and it was 99% rust free but it kept poping fuses for the fuel pump/injectors and wouldent start because of that and my dad is gonna call the toyota mechanic at his work and ask him what he thinks
