getting bolts loose

PB blaster will work really well. If not you might need a propane torch and heat them if they are really stuck. If all that doesn't work then just keep wrenching and they would snap off. Then you would need to drill and tap it out to the same size.

One little trick with getting bolt or nuts off is always have a torch, PB blaster or something similiar, breaker bar and a piece of pipe and you should be able to get anything off. If not you have a problem or its not supposed to come off. lol Just a little personal experience with my axle

... to help out for future ppl reading this... soak the problem bolt in pb blaster... spray some on the night before you plan on working on it, and again before working on it. get some leverage on it, once it starts to move.. turn it back to where it was than loose.. keep doing that if your worryed about braking it off.. i got all the nuts off my turbo manofold on my 86 volvo that way. didnt brake one off!!

BYW my cheater bar is a 6 foot piece of exhaust pipe

i use an impact with impact sockets that are the correct size. only problem with cheater bar is when u bust 3/4 rachet, but craftsman will replace no question asked!! lol

I don't think He'll be breaking any 3/4" ratchets on anything blaster ;-) ipacts are always nice but not every kid with a blaster has one, I went alot of years without.
Leverage is always nice but watch it because a little to much on a nasty bolt and snap, your in a real pickle."same with the impact"
you can sprey some sh*t to death and it won't help although its a good place to start....
When you can use heat it works great. however if something happens to be painted up real Perdy like or has some sort of bushing etc. it becomes a not good or not at all option.
So I agree with every one, --to an extent
you have to evaluate the scene. I would have probly spreyed it, use mild leverage type action and then seeing that you still have the stock silver frame and it has probly seen its share of chips and scartches I would have used heat. I have broke off footpeg bolts and I would try to steer away from that.
Glad it worked out for you. =)

breaker bar with a pipe, for every foot of bar u add, u gain 100 ft lbs of pressure, ive used a pipe on some stubborn ass bolts and that was the only way they broke loose
