gear shifter shaft

hey does the gear shifter shaft just pull out from inside the clutch cover or is there somthing holding it in place inside the gear case?

Assuming you have already removed the shift lever, clean the exposed shaft really well. You might need to use a green scotchbrite pad to remove gunk, or even a file to remove a burr from the shaft. Anything less than a nice smooth shaft will be hard to remove.

got er off.just had to sand it a lil.thanks
just need to get a lil clip off the kick start gear and make up a puller for the flywheel then yeeha
