What's the best gear oil to use that I could purchase from a hardware store or wal-mart? I have a 2000 blaster 200 and is their a certain 2 stroke oil you should use?

2 stroke oil and trans oil is defferent, dont cheap out on either, i always use belday gear saver 75 or 80 wt in the trans and maxima in the gas/oil mix
Gear oil, as above or 10w30 four stroke motor oil with no friction modifiers, or Automatic transmission fluid type F or a motorcycle gear oil designed for wet clutches.
As to 2 stroke oil, do not use cheap oil which is used for weedeaters, chainsaws or outboards.
The 2 stroke oil should be designed for air cooled motorcycles and beware of your choice if you are running oil injection, some oils are designed for premix only.
