A motor on the lean side will perform as amazing or even better than a correctly jetted motor, there is a more than a chance that if it is lean it could detonate and then BANG!

i could be wrong on this but arnt fmf jets sized differnt then other jets as in a 290 is smaller then your average 290 main jet
