gas turnoff

i turned the gas knob to off so the arrow on the knob is pointing at off and its still leaking gas ino wut the problem is the floats getting stuck jus trying to savew my self the hassle of the gas its been draining for an hour and half

need to replace seals or petcock. just pinch the line so it doesnt leak for the time being if you need to take carb off

look close at the plate on the petcock, it might be dirty, clean it, it will say on, off, reserve.

yes, 3 oclock is off, but clean it anyway

mine in the off position leaks past the petcock a little but doesnt leak out of the carb at all. Like surfer said pinch the line if you have to for now. The lever has a small arrow make sure your going the right direction.
