So how long would a gallon of fuel last in a Blaster ridden aggressively? I am trying to figure out what size tank to put on the kart. Smaller=lighter, and I dont want have a bunch of fuel sitting in the tank between rides. This is primarily a yard/dirt-road/piss the neighbors off kart, so it wont be in the woods or on the road for long periods of time. Just some fun blasts that will hopefully end just before the cops show up. Think a gallon will do it, or should I go 2-2.5?

If you're never going to be far from the house I'd say that a gallon should do just fine.

It really depends on how hard you are on the throttle, how much you weigh (the load put on the engine. Takes more gas to make a 200# guy go the same speed as it does for a 100# guy), the mods you have, etc.

sh*t, if the weight of fuel is really going to be a big issue I'd get one of those ~1 litre aluminum water/fuel bottles and use it as a fuel tank!!

Gotcha. Well, I guess I am not as worried about the weight as I am having a bulky tank hanging off the back of the kart. It is a pretty small frame, so any space saved is a plus. I weight 155, so not much weight to push here. On that note, I am curious what the kart weighs...

Blasters weigh in at alil over 300lbs I think. I really doubt the kart weighs that much. 1 gallon would be more than enough to piss the neighbors off! It sucks having to hurry up and hide your sh*t before the cops show up.
