front shocks

i have a ?? about front shocks. i am wondering what they should feel like mine are very stiff like i have no shocks when riding and the dam thing beats me up after about 45 min of riding im to tired to ride if they are suppose to be like this is their a softer shock from another quad that would work? oh yeah the preload is all the way down

I can relate I get beat up all day long on the trails. Make sure you have the pre-load adjusted right, you might have it backwards. If not look into some used works or banshee shocks.

i dont even get that sore while riding. i get a little sore after tho. i got stock shocks on my blaster and im keepin up with my brother on his 99' 440ex. i rode 1.5 tanks of gas last weekend. im also lookin into getting some shocks for my blaster cuz it does get a lil rough on the hillclimbs

i went trail/sand riding today for like 2.5 hours and i rode my blaster hard and i got stock suspension and i felt fine. just soften them(if they are not already) there is an adjustment at the bottom

well riding in the sand provides a lot of cushin as well as the shocks so that could be another reason you dont get sore while riding. i sometimes get sore after riding but not during, a lot of it might be that you are tryin to throw it around too much instead of using brakes, throttle, and clutch as well as you could be to make it easier for yourself but of course i have never seen how you ride so its hard to tell but thats just a thought.

ya stock shocks suck! get some banshee fronts for cheap on ebay.

they are as soft as they get and it still sucks the trails i ride are very very rough and ain't banshee shocks going to be as or even stiffer cause they are made for a heavier machine i am looking for something softer not harder
