I have the drum front brakes on my blaster and i was wondering how hard its going to be to replace the shoes because i just got new ones because mine were shot and wouldnt stop my quad for anything

I just did mine not too long ago,and they needed it let me tell you! It's not that hard. Plus it will give you a chance to clean and regrease just remeber to use BRAKE PARTS CLEANER just like you would use on a cars brakes. You can find it at wallmart

yeah i just replaced my shoes with the grooved shoes and it stops ok for drums but my right side still barely works anyone know the reason oh yeah the shoes are super easy to change good luckI:I

My first suggestion if the brake are already adjusted properly and still dont work would be that possibily the cable is stretched and dosent have enough tension any more. If you do replace the cable though it's a good idea to do both or all three at the same time so they all wear the same. As for the front brakes I just redid mine along with new bearings and seals, and all new cables as my backing plate was broken and it was pretty easy. Really just a couple of springs hold them on after you get the drum off which is just a castle nut. Just remember to use a new cotter pin and clean everything up good.

alright thanx guys wasnt sure if it was gonna be hard or not cuz the main nut on my hub is on there mad tight might have to find an impact wrench to take it out
