front brakes

can the actual drum wear out ? my front brakes barely work. im thinking maybe just pads

The drums do wear out over time.

The drums wear a little but I have never known them to wear as much as to be out of specs that require machining other than for out of round.

Remember there's 3 adjustment points. One on each wheel and one on the lever. Make sure that one drum isn't adjusted more than the other that'll throw the 1 into 2 box design that they have off badly (watch through the clear front of the "splitting box" to make sure they're pulling the same amount). But you could just need pads.
