Front brake pads 03-06

I bought some EMGO pads off of Boss Bearing. They were decent priced, and I have no complaints. They are holding up well, and get me stopped. That's the main thing!

EBC - SV severe duty pads ,copper alloy long lasting, stop like a sport bike . Do not score rotors and work good in wet. Cost $30 a set .

if you really want to go cheeeaap you can get a pair for $9.25 at rockymountainatv :) free shipping on 49 dollars or more til april 30 :) not sure how good they are but maybe a ten dollar mistake and 30 minutes of your time :)

Yea I saw those to. OEM are the same price. Just seems alittle pricey.
That was the reason I got them ....same price but last twice as long as OEM . I put them on my sport bike last year after going thru 2 sets of OEM in 6,000 mile.

they wont last as long and on the packages you buy they say stuff like for sand or heavy riding or mud ect..someone else can shead some light on it :)

Yea that is cheap.....I'm not looking to go super cheap. What's the difference between the sintered and such?
Picked from partsangels posting on their ad on Ebay.

Features

  • Sintered Brake Pads are for use in extreme riding conditions such as mud, race and farm use and they offer the longest lifetime, which made out from low melting point metals powder (copper and brass alloys) by pressing them at high temperatures.
  • Semi Metallic Brake Pads are for leisure/sport use and provide the lowest heat generation, which made from a resin material with metal (copper, brass) chips inclusions.
I never "cheap out" on anything when it comes to brakes, good, reliable brakes are very important.
