I just recently rolled my Blasty and kinked and broke the frame so Im picking another frame up to switch to. I was wondering how diffuclut it is to completely do. I was also looking for some tips on anything. Im not doing a total over haul of the Blasty just switching the motor and front and rear. Also wondering where I should weld supports into my frame and if there are certain places to do it. Thanks.

its pretty simple, unbolt and bolt back up, do it a little at a time, try to do it with full assemblies, I.E.

pull the front a arms/spindles/brakes by just pulling the cables off and then unbolting them from the frame and bolting them up to the new frame.

should only take a good afternoon if you're just putting it from one to another

I don't have to worry about front brakes and all in all I've replaced or switched out all the parts on it before so I know how it goes together. Im kinda worried about the wiring though. I mean is it just a unplug and unbolt thing or what? And time and help isn't a worry I have till the 3rd off school and I friend to help.

yeah i didnt label wires so it was a biotch to get the wiring right.. plus i went from hydro braked frame to a cable braked frame.. so i had to cut that mount off and weld it back on in the right spot.. it was more than i planned for but it wasnt hard

label the wiring if it makes you more comfortable, but it's all color coded by wires. Taking pictures is another idea if you're not sure about something

Sounds very similar to my current situation. I recently picked up a frame to swap over everything as well (big kink in front of prior frame). The whole process really isn't too bad... just takes some time. I thought the wiring was going to be sketchy as well but if you do everything piece-wise and label everything very clearly as other folks have suggested (maybe even take some pics) then its really not bad. There are two main points for disconnects (for bulk of wires together) at front left (when on quad facing forward) and then also on left just past motor (pretty obvious will see all the quick disconnects at same positions). For me all went pretty smoothly, now just need to bleed brake lines and get extra length of chain (ended up getting extended swingarm). Good luck.I:I

Haha thats the EXACT same place mines screwed up. I think Im going to weld in some reinforcments there. Thanks for the help everyone. Ill be sure to try and help you guys out if you need help.
