and a parts bike I got (completely different time and place) were both bent in the same place. If you've got an extended grab bar, the damage is more likely to occur since the moment at the frame point in question is increased directly proportional to the distance from the point. An extended swing arm will lessen the likelihood since you're not as prone to 12 o'clocking it in the first place. If the frame that took that abuse in post #14 wasn't reinforced, I guarantee I would've been repairing another one.
