for you guys running the vitos bbk

Got a couple of questions about first the rings do you run them with the markings up or down? Ive noticed the rings are tapered just wondering how you run them.

And second as you know the kit came with jets and the biggest being a 340 what do you guys run?
 
Ill be breaking the engine in on the fmf/stock carb jetted accordingly but have went ahead and ordered a dynoport setup.ive had good luck with them on dirtbikes and they make some really powerful durable stuff for them so why not on the blaster?so after its broke in ill put on the dyno port and the pwk 35 keihin carb.

The dyno port looks like a nice setup and runs the 250r silencer any point to running this silencer?

On a scale of say 1-10 for a 240cc motor where does this pipe rank?im looking for actual opinions from those who have ran them not what they heard.

Im just going with what ive known to be a quality powerful pipe on other atvs and hope i made a good choice.

jetting will have to come from someone running a vito's, or start at vito's suggestion and plug chop till it's right
if your gonna order/buy jets, the dude at carbparts.com will help with selection, give him a call, but i'd wait till i got all the parts bought, so this is a one time deal

Well ill agree looking back now maybe i could have combined it all but didnt want to make a long ass pist so i made seperates maybe a bad decision now so my bad.

I dont think vitos was telling me what i wanted to hear when i asked whrt the specs were he told me i wrote them down and later mic'ed the bore and piston and they were in spec with what vitos said.are they known to be liars?im not being a dick im serious have you guys gottem bogus info from them?just wondering what to be on he look out for when dealing with them if i have a question.

The guy did ask what pipe i was running and told me to run a i think it was CT and then told me he had one more fat bastard left for 300.i told him i ordered a dynoport and he said they hadnt tried that on the 240 so he couldnt comment on it.the guy came as a nice guy.

Anyhoo ill just play with the jetting and do plug chops too many variations just wanted a ball park.
