i think it might be mounted in the bed by the tailgate not to sure its been a couple years since ive seen the truck.last i heard he blew the motor so idk if he is even driving it ne more
i had 2 mtx 5500s in a sledge hammer box, with 1000k watt sony amp and could hear me 2-3 blocks away... hit so hard it would trip the emergency fuel shut off, cos the car thoughts it got in a accdent lol!!! i want my reg cab to hit like that
my freind has a box like that in his back of his f150 as a seat its not the unconfotable but he has 2 10's and 2 12's all kickers hooked up to hyfnox 1500amp it slaps so hard
don't like the choice of wood or subs really, but a nicely executed install
I don't see why waste a good install on crappy gear. I don't see doing a blow thru unless moving enough air to warrant all the work. IF I were to do a blow thru, I would use 2 18"s or 4 15"s or more 12"s or 10"s. at THAT amount of displacement lesser quality subs are ok to use and will still do the job. put that thing on a termlab and it would be lucky to clear a 145. mdf doubled up braced a pair of monster subs and TONS of power hell, even a SINGLE worth mentioning sub would tear that box away. I've no love for particle board... I used it years ago when starting out. or when toying with a design for something super cheap that I intend on throwing out after landing the design. but really prefer mdf of light weight version
just my take, like I said, awesome work, I just feel it's wasted on undeserving gear
