how do i get thisoil pump gear shaft out of my block. i have the block off kit. i just dont know how to get this f*ckin thing out. i have to do it tomorrow. someone f*ckin tell me. please......I:I

i have the whole oil pump off. just the oil pump gearshaft is left. this is driving me f*ckin nuts

you have to take the clutch cover off to get it out theres no other way not the plastic cover the one that the pump mounts too

yeah inside the clutch cover theres a little pin i believe that holds the gear in, it runs off one of the drive gears inside there,
do a search in the "diy" section for oil blockoff, theres detailed threads on it, but definately the way to go, take the whole thing out, might as well change your tranny oil while your in there, ya gotta drain it anyway

there should be an E clip on the shaft holding it on,youll need to pop that off to get it out.A flat head screw driver or needle nose pliers will do.

Remove the clutch cover. Remove the E clip on the white plastic gear. Remove the pin and gear. Remove a second E clip and pull the shaft out. Use sockets and a hammer to tap out the steel sleeve
