Footpeg striped

Drill & tap. I striped one of mine, and i think the stock bolt is a M10 x 1.25 bolts!
If i remember right i drilled it out with a 25/64" or 13/32 drill bit then tapped it for a 7/16 X 20 bolt. Start with the smaller drill bit, if the tap is to tight then go to the bigger drill bit. You may have to drill out the foot peg for the bigger bolt.

the front mount is a solid bung
the rear peg bolt is a hollow section with a nut tack welded inside of it
(i say "tack welded" very loosely)
when i went to re-install my nerfs/pegs the other day, those 4 very tiny "tack" welds broke and the nut was in there floating around.
i cut the solid front mount from my spare frame, drilled the rear hollow section out to fit the new solid piece and welded it in there.

so if yours is the rear one, be very careful drilling and re-tapping it, so that nut doesnt break loose.

the bolts are indeed 10 x 1.25, and usually the next bigger size american is closer than the next size metric,
so check into the drill/tap bronco mentions above

I broke the foot peg nut thats in the frame so i just found some all thread and put it through my frame and it works great

i joked about doing that, before realizing it is indeed hollow straight thru to the other side.
if i didn't already have the solid bung cut off and welder drug out, i may have went that route too.
