I just installed my new FMS Fatty Gold Series pipe today and There isn't a gasket for the spout to pipe slip joint... I Figured it must self seal but it doesn't, there is a deffinent leak. Can someone tell me how to fix it?
Thanks
I am leaving in the morning to drive down to Cow Mountain so I hope to get a ansewr quick. :)

I am talking about the joint at the Cylinder head... The pipe is all the way up to the flange that bolts to the head.
Can I just put some High temp RTV in there and let it set overnight?

mine leaks at that spot 2 the only problem i have had in deep water it gets in a little an i can hear it in the head pipe it goes away,i think they make some type of high temp sealant just for that. dont bother me though urs must leak bad

Yeah, it is pretty bad... I think I will just use some high temp RTV and see what happens.
Thanks.

It was the one that came with the pipe.
I think I will just use a band clamp.
We rode it on our trip It ran just fine. it has some oil residue on the pipe from the leak though.

My fatty leaked like crazy there and I just put some high temp RTV on it and now it doesn't leak at all. Make sure you put lots on because the gap around the flange is pretty big, well it was on mine.

High temp RTV at the exhaust port works fine.. I use it and never leaks. Apply a think coat on the cylinder & thin coat on the flange, bolt it together when rtv reaches a sticky dry.
