What would be better to buy? An FMF Fatty pipe that's in nice condition for $130, or a very rusted DG for $99? I'm curious if I can just clean up the DG and make it look nice but I don't know if it's that much better then an FMF that I should buy a rusted one.

i'll second that in case you didn't catch on....FMF !!!!!!!!

FMF i have had a dg pretty much a stock pipe, and what i hear is fmf is a killer bottom end power pipe!!
for 30$ getting a good finish and 10xx better performance Its worth it.

get the dg lol JUST KIDDING GET THE FMF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CAN I SAY IT ONE MORE TIME, FMF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FMF all the way. Had a DG awhile back and it sounded like someone put a soup can on as a silencer. It didn't run any better than stock either.

Hahah I get the point guys!!!! Thanks for the feedback, that's the second time I heard DG is garbage but before that I was told it's not a bad pipe to have... Guess that dude owned one & didn't want to admit he crap mods lol.

I'm kinda glad the FMF has better performance/looks because when I bought my blaster the previous owner already had a "Powercore2" installed... At least this way I'll have a matching set now. I know everybody likes to talk smack about FMF but reality is that they make a decent pipe & there prices aint too bad either(I always buy used) it's not the best pipe on the market but then again 99% of the time you get what you pay for! I shoulda known that before I even started this thread but I had to back up my gut feeling and see what you all thought :D

I all depends what you expect of the FMF, if you expect power gain in the lower to mid register, the FMF will deliver.

If you are looking at top end, you may be a little dissapointed.

You are absolutely 100% correct on that one! The FMF Fatty will give a nice boost to the low/mid range and that's all I'm really wanting out of it for now... Add a +4 timing degree advance or even a reed cage spacer and it will compliment it nicely ;)

Dual stage reeds, with the spacer between them and the jug.:)

If you don't like a thread then don't post any comments!

didn't say anything bad about the thread. a simple search and being here for the time you have you should know that DG is the worst pipe ever for the blaster.

it should be a no brainer to choose the FMF over a "rusted" DG. that's all i was saying. sorry if you were offended. carry on.

I'm not offended at all! But like I said in a previous post, I was told conflicting stories about "DG's" performance stats. So I was unsure if DG actually was a good pipe like for example Toomey or F7 etc... That's why I was kinda unsure if I should of chanced going for a cheap priced better performance pipe that had rust & I could clean it up or not. But it's whatever honestly, the way I look at it is I don't make a comment on a thread unless it's going to help them in some way. But anyways this is getting off topic now so Im done lol
