hi,

now i have a stock exhaust on my blaster.
i want to change that to a fmf exhaust.
question: do i need to change my carb settings?

yes you will need to up the main jet 2 or 3 sizes id say
very easy to do actully.
get carb off bike and unscrew the bottom(4 screws) buy a jet tool and unscrew the jet, replace with a bigger jet (probably 260) stock is 220 or 230 depends where your from.

270 main, needle in the middle, stock pilot, airbox lid removed. That should get you close. But due to elevation, temperature, and other things it probably won't be spot on.

I have the same as above, but I'm at sea level (400' or so) and I needed a 300 main.

Go to jetsrus.com and buy a range of jets from 260 up to 310 and then take the time to figure out which jet works best for you by doing plug chops.

Good luck!

I run a 280 with an fmf fatty gold series and sst2 silencer.but I've got vf3s k&n and so on.plg chop says I'm spot on.

Since fmf will suggest a jet size to get you close when you buy it I'd start with their recommendations.
