Ok so i found an exhaust for my quad.Picked up an fmf fatty with powercore 2 siliencer for 60 bucks.I thought man what a deal...Well it didnt come with the damn flange that bolts to the motor..Does anyone know were to get one or if a flange from an it175 would work?I've seen a pile of flanges for it175 or it250 on ebay.If anyone has one there looking to get rid of please email me..
Thanks

I'm thinking that it would be better to have the thing welded up!! The motor itself doesn't move much at all, and the amount of flex in the frame isn't enough to worry about needing a joint there, IMO. The flex can be taken up at the joint where the pipe and silencer meet, if needs be. Not sure why they put that flange there anyways....I like the welding idea!

I welded up a new flange for a DG pipe I had laying around. Sat on this project for 7 years, when I finally got around to putting it back together, I couldn't find the flange and couldn't find one from DG, so I made one. Well, a week later I found the old flange..... If it works for you, you can have it for $10.00, I just have to put the DG one back on my quad. It works on my DG pipe, don't know about FMF. I can post pics if needed.

hey, anybody have a fmf flange or know the best way to weld a stock part onto the fmf pipe.....realise this is an old thread but need some help...it seems impossible to find a flange and i live in ireland so calling fmf is a last resort...thanks
