When My quad idles for a little, gas pours out of the breather tube. This doesnt happen always but it's been happening more frequently. I have to tap the side of the carb and it stops leaking. How do I fix this?

Like MR305 sead you have to clean it because my bike did the same thing because the guy I bought it from left the bike standing for 6mounths or more so the 2stroke oil seperated from the petrol and made some sticky jelly sh*t in the carb, and chek that you have the right float valve/needle in there. I will even post a pic for you to show you where it is if you don't know where the float valve/needle sits.

here is that pic I promised...I:I

Thanks for the info. I did clean the carb so its not that. It must be the needle. Where can i get one. Could it also be the float hanging up on the side of the carb?

float height should be between 20mm&21.5mm just place the carb upside down and measure from the mating surface of the float chamber but remove the gasket and then measure it the top of the float. and that is out of the blaster manual so you need not worry for it is correct
