Ok. Well in my stock carb, the float would not flop a lot, but since i got the new keihin, it like flops up and down. Sounds gay but idk how eles to explain it. Like it's not firm, like u cant push it down when u take the bowl off and turn carb upside down. Beacuse it is touching the body of the carb.

I'm confused as to what you are getting at. The float is supposed to pivot it up and down. If it doesn't set or it doesn't move freely, the float might be mounted upside down.

yeah im kinda lost on this as well.. so the float is hitting the bowl? it could be in upsidown as stated or someone could have bent the floats up trying to adjust them (wrong way to do it)

the float moves completly free, like on the stock carb, u could push the float beacuse it would give resistance. But the float just moves freely.

It's supposed to move freely until it hits the tab for float level adjustment. That's it's purpose....to freely float on the gas in the bowl. If there was resistance one way or the other it either wouldn't float or would hover over the gas. Not if it just hangs down 90 degrees the metal tab might be broken off.

Hey Eric,

Take a picture of the carb with the bowl off so we can see what your talking about. If you can't figure it out, I'll be down your way Saturday and can give ya a hand.
