i gotta dt200 and planed to use the motor in my blaster so first i decided to convert its carb to my quad and use it with my aircooled motor first.
after getting a tors eliminate cable i installed the carb with my new protec intake manifold. the dt and blaster share same carbs with minor differents i installed the blastys jets and took it for a spin
the bike sounded awsome till i tryed peak rpms and noticed the bike acts like its got a limiter in it before the band will not kick in (throttle held wide open). almost like its too rich. carb also leaks a little when fuel is left on and while rideing if u turn off the fuel the bike runs alot better till fuel runs too low. ASWELL when i swapped the jets the float looked alittle off like the tap might of got bumped. i had the exact same limited rpm problem with the dt.
Is the float level sound off?? too much fuel gettin into the carb?
