over the last couple months, while my leg healed
i've takin my carb off and apart at least 50 or 60 times, no bullshit, i had to get new screws for the bowl and clamps, i finally came to the conclusion this evening that it had to be the float sticking, after trying to adjust it to close sooner umpteen times, it finally started coming out the overflow today while sitting, so after some very close inspection, i pulled the pin that holds the float between the 2 posts, i noticed a shiny spot on each post, and when i ran my finger over them i could feel a groove had been worn by the float into the aluminum, i filed that down lightly so it was smooth, readjusted my air screw to high idle, turned my idle screw down a little, warmed her up, and went for the whitest knuckle, arm wrenching rip i've ever taken on this bike, she flat out rips now,
sucks though that sumthin so small and simple, but damn hard to find held me down so long
