First quad needs tips on riding blaster

and when ya start hill climbing if u ever do, start small on like five to ten foot small hills something easy to catch urself on I:I

When I learned to drive there were plenty of cars still around that did not have synchronized gears. Even when you used the clutch you had to have the engine at just the right speed. To downshift one of them you had to do a weird dance called "double clutching" where you tapped the gas pedal in between clutch stomps. Old 4x4s like the Willys army jeep only had 3 gears and 1st wasn't syncro. If you couldn't make it in 2nd, you probably would be able to get it back into 1st. Weird huh?

OK, we've established I am old(er) and probably sitting back having a beer. Let's talk bikes.

This question has been debated for all the years that I recall. I have seen rounded engagement dogs and bent shift forks from guys who forced their shifts, including myself. I have heard arguments both pro and con. I have seen very hard riders that never use a clutch and swear that clutching wears plates, burns oil and causes slippage and heat.
Myself, I use the clutch most of the time.

One of the reasons I like KTMs and my 125 specifically is the beautiful hydraulic clutch.
Pulls so smoothly that riders of other makes think it is broken or disconnected. One finger clutching.
If you all had clutches like that, you'd use them more often too.
