all of us, as a group, come on here daily, spending countless hours, trying to teach the less informed how to build and maintain these things properly.
and your uncle tells you to run a bike, letting a fresh motor suck dirt, and that "no filter" also ran it lean

Wow wow wow boys. Lets calm it down in here huh? AWK is just being AWK lol. And it wasn't bright but whats done is done. Lets not get all emotional about it.
im calm i just dont like one people diss on my family. dosent get very far until i say something or do something. but yes whats done is done. cant change that.
Well does it run still? Good compression? Nothing broke? You learned your lesson and now you know. And I think what AWK meant is that it wasn't exactly a good idea to run it without a filter and he should have told you that. He's just trying to help but sometimes he gets upset when the nurses at the nursing home won't give him his pudding. lol
yes and 160 pounds of it nearly broke my leg kicking it lmao. and my uncle said its a nono but its your only chance to ride it for prolly another week so take it around the parking lot 2 or 3 times.

Sounds good kinda dark but definately sounds healthy.
Im guilty of the no air filter thing here recently too.I started my new motor up without one and road up and down the culdasack (sp?) a couple times.
But no way in hell would i go out ripping up and down in dirt or anything but pavement.I did leave my choke on to compensate for the lean issue and my only reason for it moving was to test the trans gears that prior to the build were binding and i never poured the meat to it had i my richey ass neighbors would have had the sherrifs out lol.
Yea but on a serious note bro you should not have been out ripping it up at all with no filter and if your uncle advised you to do so he was wrong plain and simple thankfully you didnt do any damage but if you did then im sure ken would fix you back up and you would learn an expensive unecessary lesson but weve all had to on something or another im sure even awk lol.

i was on pavement sept for in that video as soon as the video ended i was back on the pavement. and the choke was on. and i have learned lol. buying my fourwheeler for 400 then putting 800 into a supposedly rebuilt motor. then finding the rear end was toast. i shoulda just bought one off craigslist lol
