Finally bagged him

Next time I am going to hit the call before I shoot; because he was trotting along at a slow pace and my dad says I probably slapped the trigger.

yea, nice buck i've been going since i was twelve n im 16 n never got anything but where i hunt we've been seein this beautiful 13 point on the trail cams n archery starts next saturday so im hopin to get him

lol hell yea..and the buck seemed like "not so bad without a bow or gun now are ya?!!...noo dont go back for it..heres a hoof to the face" lmao

Im glade theres nothing like that here on the island, come to think of it, no snakes, no poison spiders, no deers... well we still have lots of birds, and rabits, this island sucks on wild life, maybe its because its an island lol
We do have, the most wonderfull sea life.

For those who are thinking "good, nothing to run over in the trails"... wrong, we have lots and lots of..... cows, and hell ye its kind of frightener to find one head on after a 50mh left turn, let me tell you, they have really big eyes, and big horns... and they can run like hell lmao:D

Bow season has been in here in KY since first weekend in Sept. I just havn't had much time to be in the woods right now. Where I hunt at is a very tough place to hunt. It's a great place but where it is you don't shoot anything that isn't worth dragging out. I hunt in a creek bottom that there is no way to get a ATV in and the only way to get in there is walking down a HUGE hill so if you kill something you have to bring it back up that BIG hill. BUT this creek bottom connects to our dump which has 1700 acers of unhunted ground and deer travel in and out of this creek bottom going to the crops around the area. Year before last there were 3 bucks all over 140 inches taken within 300 years of each other around this spot. So I'm hoping I can get my son on that buck in that pic here. They use this area to travel a lot during the day time hours. I see most of my deer here between 10 am and 3 pm.
