Okay this weekend in MI was the youth hunt for 12-16 year old kids and I am 15. So I went out hunting and I was playing my psp and I look up and theres a buck I hit my call he stops and looks at me so I hit it again and he started towards me. I get my gun up and ready to shoot he walks into my scope; BANG I hit him. I see him run about 50 yards and stop so I start to reload becuase its a muzzleloader give it 5 and I went to find him. I didn't even see a spec of blood and then I saw a deer; scoped up sure enough it was him so I slowly and queitly started walking towards him; he went down and I walked up to and almost tripped over him. I backed off becuase I have heard some of the horror stories and then I waited figuring he would just die nope he got up and ran. So I went to get my uncle to go and track him we tryed for probably 2 hours couldn't find him looking in the totally wrong dirrection. So we went to get more help and we got the blood trail we followed it for probably 2 hours and then finally my cousin says look there he is I was so happy to see it dead not allive and looking at me. Man I was so happy this is my first buck and I have been hunting for four years and passed up many scrub racks. Now I know you all are going to want picks so here they are oh ya it had an inner spread of 14.5in and the tallest tine was 7 5/8in and I gut shoot it:

i used to hunt alot, not at all any more though. glad you got it no offence but damn that was a horrible shot, nothing worse than wounding a critter and not finding it.
