fail @ missing clutch piece

did i really make a $22 mistake. lol... ok so when i tore my motor down i throw out all the broken clutch plates, clutch basket parts and metal shards that were in the crankcase...this was about 2 weeks ago..


here i am today assembling my clutch with my clymers manual when it tells me to use the "cushion spring" in between friction plate and clutch plate...cushion spring? wtff..
oh this?

well goddamnit..did i ever have a cushion spring? how come it didnt come with my hp clutch kit..hmmm

yo that sucks! you now have learned the importance of keeping old parts.

That bad dude.. I broke mine removing the clutch the last time.. And you know what that freaking ring cost over 40$ (250DKK) in Denmark.

So ill be more carefull next time hehe.. but i bought a new one and installed it.. funny thing though.. looks like a totally warped ring..

hahaha that sucks.... now would be a good time to remove the oil injection while its off. Just pop off the white plastic gear plug the lines drain the gas, put fresh pre mix in and your good 2 go.

yeah i already did that. i think that the original owner had it disconnected b/c the oil lines were wrapped around the frame and the gas looked blueish. so i popped the gear off and removed the oil tank and whatnot..

now i gotta find somewhere for this stupid spring damnit
