So im rebuilding my motor and all. Got everything go well and then i come to the clutch. I have everything together right. The push rod clutch ball pressure disks basket etc. But when i go to adjust it i dont get a response. I pull on the cable side and it doesnt move the other most pressure plate. I tor it down to make sure everything was right and it is. I have no clue whats going on.

there should be 2 push rods, a long one and a shorter one with the ball in-between, the long one should be the one against the actuator and the short one should be in the clutch
Also there is going to be some free play in the actuator before it starts compressing the springs. You will not be able engage the clutch using your hand on the actuator. I use channel locks.
