What I have learned and know from countless hours of engine R and D is that the exhaust pipe is the first part of development, then the cylinder head design, and then port layout. Many people just want me to do a port layout job for them; I will not do the job without modifying the head as a package. The best pipes I have tested that run great from the bottom to the top are Shearer Custom Pipes. Shearer has a pipe for the blaster now that pulls harder then any other Blaster pipe with a stock set up. I do not know yet how well it will work on a drag blaster; but it might be the ticket to huge gains in bottom to midrange power for the average guy. I will not have this pipe from Shearer until Monday or Tuesday. If you are in the market for a pipe; please wait until I finish testing all the pipes you want to see.
