i have a 01 blaster and its bored .40 over. The engine runs great if in nuetrual or with the clutch in but when in gear the engine has no top end sounds like it gets choked out after a certain rpm. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Check your air filter to Make sure it's clean. Do a compression, leak down and plug chop test. I'm feeling it may be your reeds but still best to do all the other stuff I said on a regular basis .

ok thanks do u kno what size main jet i should use it has dmc alien pipe k&n air filter the air box lid is ported

I'm not good at giving jet size advice so I'm not. It's always best to do plug chops to make sure. Advice may get you close but very rarely dead on.

Leave the pilot stock, try 290 - 300 and work back from there DMC Alien likes the needle on the 5th clip (richest) as stated in their fitting instructions.

if its getting choked out while under load make sure that there is no drag on the motor from the rear and then it is most likely a jetting or spark issue
