I just purchased a 7 piece oil seal kit. I have no clue which seal goes where. Is there a tutorial on this forum that I'm missing? thanks

It’s very easy. Before you remove the old seals, compare the new ones to the old for location. Next, take some seal grease and put a layer between the seal lips. If you’re doing crank bearings, make sure you put them in before you install the new seals. Pop the old seals out but make sure you don’t scratch the surface of the case. They make seal pullers but a bent screwdriver works well also. Large sockets can be used to drive the seals in. The OD of the socket should be a tad smaller than the OD of the seal. Start with an easy one like the clutch actuator. Put a very thin film if BLUE Loc tight on the OD of the seal and drive it in. Be sure it goes in even. You don’t have to (or want to) drive them in past the leading chamfer of the bore. Do all of the other seals before doing the crankshaft seals. This is the money shot. Make sure they go in straight or they could leak or wear out prematurely.

Thanks a ton!! I:I

also just be really careful when you put the crank in, the smallest nick will cause it to leak within a short period of time
