Stupid question I know but did it dump half a litre of oil in the dirt or not. If it did its gearbox if not its crankcase. I see no mention of oil so I presume its crankase.

Yea there was some thing coming out not if it was petrol or it was oil as it was getting dark by the time i found the hole.

I will get a picture when i go and take the egine out tomorrow.
You will no what it is straight away most likely.
