engine/carburetor popping

Hi I have a blaster and it makes a popping noise out of the pipe sometimes. Is this because I need to clean the carburetor???

no i would try a new plug may be back firing and how old is the bike it could just need the silencer repacing

ya, that happens, is it like a loud 'psssst' out of the silencer?
