We build mostly Banshee and thumper stuff and never really much with the Blaster. Please feel free to "tech it up" with me, I like numbers. I am basically just helping out my nephew. He will be running a toomey pipe, stock reed setup, stock carb. I am simply porting the cylinder and milling the head.

I am not looking to rechamber the head though I realize they have a really bad dome setup. I am just not going to spend the time to program a new head design for one head...

I am curious what port durations these like and if timing is pretty ill like the Banshee? What UCCR will they tolerate for pump fuels? I have not testing the squishy squish yet to see what I have to work with. Im not sure what the timings look like stock so will have to look at all of that and then decide which way to go. I will NOT be pushing this to the drag limits. Just a hot dun port will do him fine...

I will not need any advice on the actual porting process but any critical geometries to pay attention to from experienced screw ups would be welcomeI:I

yes, id also say get ahold of ken oconnor, he's the trail/mx blaster master in my book, my sh*t rips !!!!!!!! and he is also lookin to get into some banshee work, so maybe you guys can trade some info

has ken picked up any secrets yet or does he just port off a program? if its just a program mabey he can hook this guy up. i dont think any the bigger builders will be willing to share thier secrets they have learned from trial and error over many years of blaster experience.

oh yeah, ken has secrets, he only used those templates to evaluate them on blaster motors, he's been porting pro mx bikes for years, some of which he's been applying to blaster motors

/\/\/\/\ just dont forget that chest protector next weekend, aaaaahahahahaaaaa
