Engine break in

I just got my quad bored out .20 with a new piston because I crack the stock one neways now I have to break in the engine and im not really sure what im supposed to do.

ride it easy, no hard pounding on the throttle, soft shifting through the gears, about 20 hrs of good easy riding.

my clymer manual says first 10 hours 1/2 throttle or less and next 10 hours 3/4 or less throttle after the 20 hour breakin go crazy and tread lightly

there's a thread in the diy section on breaking in a 2stroke.
i've done this 3 times now. the first time i just rode her kinda easy for the first 20 and the last 2 times i went through the heat cycle method. it's much quicker and my compression seems perfect.
