little update:

you can see in the pictures that the "flag" isn't clocked right


this thing is actually adjustable! a bolt goes through the stem and a sliding piece in the bottom, at its shortest length it is about a +4 and it feels about right


the bad news:
its actually a banshee or warrior stem, guess i'll be learning how to use the lathe at work!
