Whats the deal with this ebay coil? The coil is right but the plug cap itself is the tricky wierd part. The plug wont "plug" into the cap. Anyone have any edxpiernece with these coils?

Try taking that rubber boot off the end and see if that work. It may be stopping it from going all the way on. If you want it water proof, pack some lithium grease inside the boot before you do the final install.

Maybe it's one of them odd plug boots that you have to screw the tip of the plug off and use the threaded stud only ????????

that may be the kinda plug boot that accepts the plug with just the threads, instead of the little barrel screwed on, although it does look like the NGK style boot I and others are using
and i'm not sure every plug allows you to unscrew the barrel on the end, i know one of the NGK plugs i had, the barrel did come unscrewed while riding
check into it

edit........damn, demon beat me to it !!!!!

Your getting slower by the day old man. Lol.

and btw......that plug boot will unscrew from the wire end, then screws back into it, may i suggest you shorten that wire a little ????
it looks long enuf to reach the blaster behind yours !

I bought one of the hard plastic ngk boots and it sucked it had the thread kind of head and it wore out after my plug chops. it was brand new.

Just cut it to desired length and screw the cap back on. FYI- If you want the correct NGK plug cap 90°, it is LB05E and the part number is 8031.
