I want to get an easy pull clutch lever for my wife's blaster. Has anyone used the MSR ez-pull? I've found it on ebay for about $50 shipped.

What other options do I have besides that one? I would like to get something at least 50% easier to pull.

spray a bunch of 4D-40 in there and call it a day. no need to spend $50.00

Spray it in where? I'm guessing you mean between the cable and housing?

My clutch is super easy to pull and its stock, not sure why it would be any harder. Is it a new or old cable?

Old cable. There is a difference between what's easy for a guy and what's easy for a girl.

just buy less stiff clutch springs

Wouldn't that make the clutch slip easier, therefore making is wear out quicker?

you would be surprised how much easier it is to pull the clutch in with a new cable on it. I'd try a new cable first, expecially if you haven't replaced your old one in a while.

As far as I know it's original, we've only had it a couple weeks.

Do they make teflon coat cables and housings? I have them for my mountain bike and they did make a difference as I went from new steel ones to those.

the easy pull clutch levers are soposd to be pretty good. I don't have one and i don't really know to much about the different makes, but a lot of guys i woodsrace with have them.

I use the EZ pull from MSR.
It was noticeably easier to pull over my stocker.
It's good idea to get one if you also have HD springs.

I just sprayed 4d-40 where the lever connects to the perch and tried to get one inside the cabel housing if that makes any sence.

Makes sense, except it's WD-40 :).

I'll try and give the cable a good flushing before I buy anything.
