is it possible to take the stock cylinder and bore it to a 240 or do i have to sleeve it im wondering this because i have enough for a big bore but not a carb and jets and a oil block off but if i can do that my shop will do it for 250 bucks but they didnt no if itd work

no. For a 240 you would need to get your old sleeve taken out and a 240 sleeve pressed in. they would not have the 12 port design just wouldnt be as good as say a vitos 240 kit. sorry m8

my situation is my friend keeps thinkin his kx 125 will beat my blaster which it wont but i want beat him by like 400 feet and my top end just went so i need a new one and hav like 600 bucks but ill be getting more soon and does any 1 no if a blaster can climb any of the hills at treverton

600 bucks would cover a bore/hone, piston and port from most any of the builders on here. i've run a 36mm mikuni carb in stock boots by using a dremel on the motor side, and heating up the airbox side. otherwise you can adapt from the bigger carb to your airbox with a "fernco" plumping fitting. you can get a Keihin 34mm PJ for pretty cheap on ebay, they sell around 50-60 bucks all the time

did with your CURRENT setup, there is no way in hell your going to beat a 125, yea you think there gonna be slow cause its only 125cc, but there probly just as fast as a 450, not as fast but right up there with them

Send your top end to Ken Oconner racing, He will hook your sh*t up and yes you will take any of those hills in treverton, and smoke the 125 in the process! If your local engine builder doesn't know how much the cylinder can be bored I'd stay away from them, you'll end up with a piece of sh*t. I'm speaking from experience here, Ken found so many little issues with quite a few motors that could of caused disaster in few short rides he relly knows what's up, tell him what kind of riding you do and what kind of porting you would like, he will take over from there. My son's bike is fast as hell and it's not even jetted properly yet!
