early blaster motor?

what do you think. im thinking about buying it and stuffing it in my blasters frame

Im thinking that, its a yamaha 2 stroke layout...kinda like GM engines are much similar...same technology but Im sure that would make just a wee bit more power than our blasters.

thats what i was thinking but is it the same cylinder and head design? and would it fit the stock blaster bottom end? if it is ill buy it for a spare. i asked for more pics so when i get them ill post them up

It might fit, You could look up the specs on the head, Im not sure if the bolt patterns changed, *doubt it* but if it was me buying it, that would be the case. Im sure you can work somthing out...if not just put the whole damn engine on your bike. Im sure it woudnt be too much work

Remember that even if the head would happen to fit it would most likely have a different port layout and may not run at all. You will need to check the stroke, rod length and piston height

Hmmm that would take alot of work... blasters are more related to dt200 and wr200's. but with enogh fab work, anything is possible.

is there any other motors i can put in my blaster? i can modify to put it in there no problem on that end. but i want to run the 2 stroke open class this year any thoughts
