Early 90's Blaster info please

Hey guys,

I am getting all nostalgic here and I remember the Blaster I wanted more than anything when I was young was the orange and white color combo... I am looking for info on which year that was exactly... I thought it was 92 or 93 but I can't find anything on it.

Does anyone know which I am looking for? I would like to see a good clean pic of one if anyone here owns one.

92 had the "new eltoro orange" color available, i personally have never seen one and all the orange bits are discontinued from yamaha. you can go the cheap route and get maiers lol

Paulie, that isn't what I was looking for. It is the 92 Eltoro orange... I haven't been able to find a decent pic online anywhere... I was hoping someone here would have one and post a pic for me...

I have found a all teal 94 here local that I may go pick up... We will have to see

Thanks for finding that but that isn't it either... I don't remember them coming out with a solid orange fender like that though. I found a picture of one that is pretty worn out, it was on page 42 of the official Blaster pic thread here on the forums. I know it looks yellow but it is indeed bright orange on the tank and nose and a orange seat with white fenders.

I will find a nice clean one of these and snatch it up one day...

Yeah that is a red one but same idea, white fenders and orange tank and nose... That one does look a lot like the first blaster I ever rode and it was an '88 too!

that 1988 is called "Chappy Red", that pic of the 92 above is correct. New Eltoro Orange was for hood, tank cover, and seat. the full fenders were white

It is a 92 I currently have mine on eBay if you want to check out a pic. It is white fenders with orange seat, gas tank, and front fender plus orange shocks. I've had many blasters over the years and I never new this color combo existed until I found this one.

My Blaster is either an '88 or '89 and it originally came with yellow tank, hood, seat and springs. Any info on this one? Anything special? How does one find out exactly what the year is after 20 owners and no paperwork?
