Dyno pulls

Rob from RDZ is not a pipe guy; he took the Shearer pipe and made a few changes and called it his pipe. I know Rob and few others from Michigan that gave us a bad name out here in Michigan.
I know for a fact that the Vito pipe on a 240cc kit will out run any pipe RDZ has
I don’t want to sound mean, but I know Rob and do not like his business practices.

CPI pipe is good; but it falls off to fast. CPI(custom Pipe Inc) is mostly snowmobile pipe guy. I run Shearer and Vito pipes. I run those pipes because I have tested all of them and from the hard work of testing I know what works. It takes hours of work to get things right; but once you got the right set up; it makes power.

Yea you are right i had a wicked out of frame pipe and sold it cause i want a inframe so i got the cpi but i think it is just chocking my 4mill do you think the vitos pipe would do me better or the shearer pipe???

so wat carb and reeds were used on that setup??? and is that a ported 240 or stock 200?

Yes I think the Vito pipe will work better for set up alky; but I would need to map out your engine with the +4mm crank. Your port timing/head could be way off
PM me questions
Thanks

why every one getting all excited over dyno hp . i have a fmf fatty on my ct 240 and i cant complain one bit . i ride open trails and corn fields i have to back out before it stops pulling. choosing a pipe is up to ur pocket and riding conditions .

I couldn't agree more. I have had the Vito pipe and put it aside cause it didn't perform well. If it were as good as it is hyped up to be then you would see it more often at national levels.

Here is one of my first pulls

yes i have my old man got a lt 500 and lt250 . my bro has a cr250 and banshee t5 pipes. couple friends have craptors so yea. my blaster is far from the fastist but holds it on cant complain one bit. all of this hipe over two or three hp . and if you can ride you can keep your quad in it power band .

i mean any other pipes on ur blaster. the engine dynamics are going to be different on those different motors, and when you start porting it changes everything....

hick's right. on a 2stroke motor, the pipe is a huge determinating factor in performance. choosing the right pipe not only will affect the amount of peak hp or torque but also the way the motor acts through the band.
if you've got a restrictive pipe or a pipe that doesn't match the port job, then you might have a ton of peak hp, but it's all within like a 2-3k rpm range. that means that by the time you reach the peak and shift to the next gear, you've dropped below the register. if you've got a nice pipe/port job combo then the band will have a huge peak and a solid climb to get there that starts early. then you can shift gears and as soon as that higher gear throttles, it'll already be in a solid part of the curve putting out lotsa horses.

ok lets be real who has an extra 500 plus to but a pipe get it port match buy gaskets and jets just for a few extra peak horse power . i have zero complaints out os my fmf i know its much better pipes out there but i never lost a race or never has it stop pulling . when i put a dent or a crack in it ill get a new pipe. but seriously i might switch to a big bore pipe next witer when i get it ported . thats only if i find a good deal on one

well, i guess i do.
and those "few" extra horse aren't just peak power man. take a look at kennedy_power's research that he posted. there's a dyno run w/ the fmf pipe stock cylinder, then there's one w/ a properly ported cylinder on a shearer pipe. it's about double the horse. and not just peak, the fmf pipe comes on super weak so the power band is unrecognizable on a dyno till like halfway to it's max rev, then it jumps up and has little over rev. then look at the shearer.
but, to each his own man. ride what you wanna ride! i personally like to squeeze every last bit of power out of every engine i've got, just for fun. i like buying a medium size bike and making it rip!
